John Deere Partnership

On February 17th, 2004, Precision Cable Assemblies was recognized at an Awards Dinner in Davenport, Iowa, achieving "Partner" status, the highest rank a John Deere supplier can achieve. At the awards dinner, 224 vendors of 6000 were recognized, the top 3.7%. John Deere suppliers are rated on their quality, delivery, cost management, technical expertise, and responsiveness to John Deere's needs and initiatives. This is the second year Precision Cable has been named a Partner supplier, the first year being 2001. Achieving this supplier status 5 consecutive years allows a supplier to be named a "Hall of Fame" supplier. John Deere took the opportunity prior to the dinner to discuss the state of the company and discuss goals for 2004 and years tocome. In 2004, for the first time in 3 years, the criteria for quality and delivery PPM will be reduced in order to achieve Partner Status.
